I might be late to the party, but but there's a huge assumption in Part 15 Rules for antenna/ground systems in the 160-190kHz band. The assumption is the 15 meter total length of the system would be made of metal elements- but there's nothing saying the system can't be made of some other materials. Has anyone considered whether some other, possibly composite, material would provide far greater performance at these wavelengths and field probe antenna lengths?
