Hi Glenn. One way to tell with easy certainty that you have TDF on 162 kHz is to listen for the 1 second pause in the digital data right at the top of each minute. It's real obvious if you have a waterfall running. 209 & 257 kHz are NDB's (I get a gob of them here esp on 257, and strong birdie on 209). As for 252 kHz were you able to make out any modulation or carrier only? I have a whole bunch of NDB's on and around 252 kHz but when Algeria's signal is real strong it will over power the NDB's. I have to use a lot of notch filtering to get rid of the NDB's but they make the audio quality real crappy. Last several nights here have been lousy for me and a lot of t-storms right over me. 73 Gedas W8BYA
