Nice catch, Gedas. I missed that on the 28th, but last evening (29th local time) Algeria was coming through pretty well, although I heard conversation not music. The rub being that the voices were not clear enough for me to claim it as a log using my “personal log criteria.” Which made me just realize that my personal criteria favor music since if I can pull any tune or melody of any sort out of the QRN, I’ll take the log. With voices I need to hear clear distinct words regardless of language, and last night didn’t make that cut. One thing seems sure from several of your recent posts is that you’ve got a superior LW receiving situation out there. Here in suburban NE Boston area, the noise floor is usually sky high, easily well over S9 so requires noise blanking at all times. Now, if I could just drag myself out of bed at 4-5 AM like I did for many decades as a working stiff, I might find a lower noise floor. But that’s a task for, um, tomorrow I think. Yes, definitely. Well, maybe…. 😉😃 73, Bruce WA1HGJ
