Thanks for the confirmation. For many years there was a ham in VE2 land (I forget his callsign) who had a beacon on 44 meter but it was listed as 'upon request' or some such wording. I think it was a digital beacon. I noticed another HF ISM band in the CB band. With these low power levels and the high voice splatter qrm up there, I wouldn't think anyone would have a chance of hearing beacons on this band...hi! I don't operate much so I'll leave the two hifer beacons on 24/7 If off, I'm either attempting to listen on the ham bands, or doing antenna work or they both saw the light at the end of the tunnel at the same time!
